I am going to do the Patriot's pen essay because it interests me the most out of all of the contests. I like this contest because I think history is really cool, and I also think it would be really cool if you could talk to the people that made America what it is today.
ReplyDeleteI am going to participate in the Patriots Pen competition because none of the other contests interest me. I am definitely not going to do the Philosophy Slam this year because I hated it last year.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do the patriots pen contest because i think it is going to be a great way to share my voice about our founding fathers. I also think that history is a great and fun subject.
ReplyDeleteok
DeleteI am either doing the Philosophy Slam or the Patriots Pen competition. I don't want to do the Optimists club competition because I don't like writing or reading about sappy friendships. If the Philosophy Slam topic is terrible like last year I will do the Patriots Pen. Hi.
ReplyDeleteI would like to do the Patriot's Pen essay. This essay includes things that I like to think about. The fact of writing to important historical figures makes me curious. It would be fun to think about what to write to American leaders. Also the fact that the essay limited to 300-400 words makes it quite a shorter essay, which means less work.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do the Patriots Pen essay, because all of the other contests looked boring. This topic looked kind of interesting. I also like that it is short for an essay.
ReplyDeleteI am going to do either the Philosophy Slam or Optimist Club, because I don't know who the founding fathers are.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do the Optimist Club essay or the Philosophy Slam. I don't want to do the Patriot's Pen, because the topic isn't something I'm interested in. I did the Optimist Club speech contest last year and I think it would be fun to do the essay contest this year, and I liked doing the Philosophy Slam last year, but I want to see what the topic is before I choose it.
ReplyDeleteI am either going to do the Patriot's Pen contest or the Philosophy Slam. I don't like writing essays like the Optimist Club essay. I might do the Patriots Pen because I have always wanted to talk to the founding fathers. I might do the Philosophy slam but I will have to see what the topic is this year.
ReplyDeleteLike Noelle, I also was able to do the Optimist Club last year and enjoyed it. I was even able to get second place in the copetition. When I was looking, I was glad to see that they had a different topic picked out then last year. Not because I didn't like the topic last year, because I did, but because I wanted to be able to write about something different and not have to write about the same topic.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. I'm not going to Optimist Club for sure because I don't really like the topic (much less write a good paper for it), so I'll either do Patriot's Pen or Philosophy Slam, but I'm leaning on Patriot's Pen because the topic is fairly decent and I don't really want to gambleon getting a good topic for the Philosophy Slam because, and because last year's topic was bad, I don't feel so good taking a chance this year with confidence. The only downside to Patriot's Pen is that the due date is so early.
ReplyDeleteI want to do the Patriot's pen for two reasons: I want to be done early. Then it'll be out of the way and I won't have to worry about it later. The other reason is that I believe that the topic is interesting. If I could talk to the founding fathers, I deffinitely would.
ReplyDeleteThe project I think I would like to do is the Philosophy Slam. I really enjoyed writing this essay last year, and I hope we have another good topic to write about this year! I don't want to do the Patriot's Pen because I'm not a huge fan of history and I don't know much about it. The Optimist Club doesn't sound too bad either, but it seemed like a tough topic to write about. I guess that leaves the Philosophy Slam!
ReplyDeleteI think I will do the philosophy slam. Buif that fails I will do Patriot's Pen thiugh it sems to be quite boringIt's better than optimist though. I just don't want to come up with some cheesy essay about friendship. It also feels like a tough topic to write about so Philosophy Slam is at the top of my list.
ReplyDeleteI'll be doing the Philosophy Slam this year. Though the topic was super broad last year, I'm hoping that this year it will be something a little bit easier to answer. Besides, I love questions that make me think and the other two contests don't really seem like something I could sit down and write an essay about.
ReplyDeleteI would like to do the Patriot's Pen because i really like the topic. Optimist Club has a really boring topic that i would not want to talk about.
ReplyDeleteI think I will do the Patriot's Pen contest because I didn't like the Philosophy Slam last year and the Optimist Club doesn't seem interesting. I think the Patriot's Pen will also be pretty interesting to write about.
ReplyDeleteI think I am going to do the Patriot's Pen. I really like the topic and the other topics really bore me.
ReplyDeleteI will probably do the Philosophy Slam and/or patriots pen. I really liked the Philosophy Slam last year but I have no clue how to answer the patriots pen.
ReplyDeleteI will be participating in the philosophy slam this year because no other contest intrests me but that one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do the Patriot's Pen. I didn't like the Philosophy slam last year, and I'm intested in the veterans that risked their lives for us.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely doing Philosophy Slam this year! I loved it last year, although I hope we have a better topic... I love topics that really make me think. I looked at both of the other topics, and neither of them interested me... So for me philosophy slam was the obvious choice in more ways than one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to do the Patriot's Pen because that seems the best. I'm not doing the philosophy Slam because I hated it
ReplyDeleteI'm going to participate in either the Optimist Club or Philosophy Slam this year. Last year, the philosophy slam topic was not one that I enjoyed but hopefully it will be better and the Optimistic club just sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI am going to participate in an online Competition called Write whatever You want contest. It is on a website called BookRix. BookRix has a lot of different contests that I might enter at a different time. I like this contest because there are no limits. You can write anything from poems to a book. The first place prize is $500 and an online writing class.

I think I'm going to do the Patriots Pen Writing Contest. It looks really fun, and the paper is really unique. Plus if you win, you receive a $5,000 prize for 1st place. I wonder, what could I tell the forefathers that would be interesting?
ReplyDeleteI am going to do the Patriot's Pen because it could be a really fun experience.
ReplyDeleteI have decided I'm going to do the philosophy slam. It was fun last year, and I guess it can only be simpler with practice. So last year I tried, this year I'll try harder.
ReplyDeletePatriots peennnn. I feel very strongly about America and her belifes and every day I see people dis respecting her.
ReplyDeletePatriots Pen, it is in my opinion the most interesting of all 3 topics.
